Subject: Interesting historical footage
I live 50 years in the Chicago area and never saw the Hawthorne works in it's heyday this was very interesting from that perspective.I can't believe I am this old anyway finnnally had to leave the area .No Jobs.I miss it every day.

Plenty oddball film that suggests Western Electric is a bit TOO lovey dovey with it's employees. A shy girl gets a job at WE, but when the bosses notice she's not that extroverted, they sign her u for health classes, soon she'll be able to join in on the noon hour dances and concerts! And then she'll join the baseball team! All of this is actually ok, this is great, but I found this film hard to believe in this day and age, which I guess is sad when you really think about it.
